At Guided Steps, our mission is to empower children and families through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support. Family Guidance
Family guidance is a collaborative process that provides caregivers with the tools, strategies, and support they need to help their child thrive. In these sessions, families learn practical ways to encourage positive behavior, build communication skills, and create meaningful daily routines.
Our approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and tailored to each family’s unique needs. By working together, we strengthen consistency between therapy and home life, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote growth that lasts beyond sessions.
Family guidance is not about telling families what to do. It’s about partnering with them, celebrating progress, and providing step-by-step support to make everyday life more successful and less stressful.
School Consultation
School consultation involves collaboration between families, educators, and the BCBA to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed in the classroom.
Through observation, assessment, and teamwork, we identify barriers to learning and develop individualized strategies that promote positive behavior, increase engagement, and support academic and social growth.
Our role is to equip teachers and school staff with practical, evidence-based tools that can be seamlessly integrated into the school day. By fostering consistency across home and school environments, we help create supportive learning spaces where students can thrive.
